A while back I wrote about beads on keys and how the key bead thing had been going on for quite some time before I jumped on the bandwagon. Well, once again, I have arrived tardy to the party. This time, it’s the silver lined Pandora bead party to which I am arriving fashionably late. I may be late but what I lack in punctuality, I more than make up for in enthusiasm! Oh my gosh, I love these things! My friend Kim gave me a Pandora bracelet and now I want to fill it with nothing but lampwork. I’ve been making nothing but the big hole beads ever since.

Kim and I ordered PLENTY (more than we will ever use) of sterling silver tubing and we both ordered an Impress bead liner tool from Dave at www.artintheround.com. The tool is very cool but there is a bit of a learning curve to it. Kim and I both had a couple casualties before getting the hang of it. Dave was incredibly helpful, offering tips and a detailed tutorial right on his site. I guess I should have read it before plowing forward. LOL!
After working on a website for the better part of a month, I had all but lost my mind and definitely lost my will to live. This new obsession has gotten me back out to the torch and enjoying the beadmaking process all over again. I just love getting a new tool or a new color of glass because it really does renew my passion for creating.
I’m Lori Peterson and you can find me at loribeads.com, loriandkim.com , loribeads.etsy.com, loriandkim.etsy.com for murrini and I am also blogging here and twittering there.

I am not sure about what this pandora thing is, but those are pretty beads! I say, better late than never! Enjoy the day! Erin

I am ALWAYS late to the party. But in a way, I kind of like that, because by then, I’ve figured out my own twist to things. I LOVE your beads, and if people don’t buy them for the Pandora craze, think how cool they’d look with wide-hole silver strung on multiple strands of leather for necklaces!
