I asked this question of myself many times the last two months…I have been gone forever, working, traveling for work, opening a studio, hosting our first out of town instructor to two sold out classes…its been busy needless to say, at one point I wondered why am I not at my torch? Melting glass & making beads are the reasons for all of this & yet I found there was less & less time to make them…stories are too long to tell & they wont feel the same for you as they do first hand…so I will just show you some of my adventures in the last 2 months & the resulting creativity…

Above is a plate of beads, some of the beads I made teaching class in Turkey It was fun, this was the last day of class I think; I was sad to be leaving, I made a ton of new friends & had a great time…

Corina teaches two awesome classes at our studio.
Bead I made in Turkey with Double Helix Aurae over transparent aqua & gave to Corina as a gift…

Finally I get some time at the torch, well ok, half of these beads I made in Turkey, the rest here…
Now I am on a encased flower kick, I love making them, I teach them in class, but usually I don’t make them for sale as they take longer to make & do not sell as fast & I got to pay bills right? I have tried to spend as much time at the torch as I can this past week…you can say that being away from the torch for some time is one of the best ways to become more creative…so I will have lots more to show you next time…
You can find my beads in my etsy shop at www.jelvehdesigns.etsy.com , you can find my stories & beads to win on my blog at www.jelvehdesigns.blogspot.com & I teach in Gilroy California at our new studio.
