So, in my last post, I talked about the perfect Halloween purple and how those beads were going to be incorporated into a Halloween necklace. Since I made those beads, I have made more components for the necklace and changed the design a smidge.
Originally, I thought I wanted to have just a simple necklace strung on silver wire with a small spiral hook clasp. Since my first idea, I decided to add in some colored wire, some seed beads, and some of handmade beaded cord. So, this is what I have so far, in addition to the beads:
Some handmade cotton cord, with and without seed beads, and some colored wire spiraled around copper and silver wire and made into beads. I am working on a black cord with orange seed beads, and a black cord with purple and green seed beads, too. The vision in my head is there, but I haven’t been able to make it ‘real’ yet. I can’t decide if I need more beads, or more wire, or what. Here are all the beads:

Now, if I could just make them all go together perfectly.

That does look challenging. I hope we get to see it when it’s finished.
