Earth From Above…

The creative process is different for every artist, first of all its not always driven by the artist, some artists are happy making what they always make or do, some of us have to come with new ideas often as it is demanded to a certain degree in our field, some get inspired by a sound, some by a color, some by a story, some by the media they work with & some are very visual like me…I see something that has nothing to do with glass & glass properties & all I can think of is how do I make this idea come to life in a glass bead…then I may not do anything about it, it kind of sits in the file drawer of my mind for some time…then all of a sudden enter one day a few weeks ago I am sitting at the torch making a stringer for a special design and the idea of these beads jumps back in to my head, so I abandon my original task for the day at the torch & follow this little nagging idea…the results are below in photos, what I call my Earth From Above series…I have made a few of them & love them…
